This program is a first-start on a path to independence. Participants will learn safe practices, how to handle and emergency, and how to be responsible when home alone. Utilize our weekly drop & go for your little ones!

Safe Sitter Essentials

Ages: 11 – 15

This program teaches young people the skills they need to promote themselves as a babysitter including communicating with parents, working with babies and children of various ages, what to do in an emergency and more! This class is run over two half days and participants must attend both days.

NFL (Youth) Flag Football

Ages:  5-14

The Attleboro Norton YMCA’s NFL Flag Football  program is a safer alternative for parents who might hesitate letting their children start tackle football. NFL Flag Football, powered by USA Football, is geared toward boys and girls who want to learn how to play flag football, tactics, and most importantly–have fun! Football players should anticipate a challenging but instructional program that focuses on fundamentals, lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship.

Bounce & Play

For February, we’re going on a bear hunt! We’ll reenact the classic bear hunt story with an obstacle course that will test your gross motor skills and don’t forget a bounce in our bounce house!

For March, we’re taking off! Help us gear up for the solar eclipse on April 8th by joining our astronaut training camp and don’t forget a bounce in our bounce house!

Youth Ropes Course

Ages:  6-12

Students will learn to demonstrate initiative, problem solving, trust while learning about themselves and others. They’ll build rapport in our outdoor setting involving high and low elements–soaring (or climbing) to new heights on the Giant Swing, or overcoming obstacles on Voyager’s Crossing platforms. They’ll scale our Rockwall and practice their ability to balance on our Whale Watch.
