Ages: 6 and up
This program will help aspiring runners get ready for the Y’s Gobble Wobble 5K, which is held on Thanksgiving morning. This 10-week program takes a walk-run approach to help young runners build endurance and confidence until they’re able to complete the full distance. The program meets once a week as a team with some individual workouts to complete at home. Parents are welcome to participate in the adult version of this program, which occurs at the same time.
