Summer Programs at the Downtown Branch

Preschool Summer Program

Ages: 2.9-5
A fun and creative indoor camping experience, offered in a half-day or full-day format. Led by our preschool teachers, this program includes daily crafts, games, playground time, recreational swimming, literacy and art activities, as well as walking field trips to the library and other fun neighborhood locations. Please note that this program requires additional enrollment paperwork to be completed prior to your child’s first day.

Food & Fun Summer Program

Ages: 6-12
At this camp, we actually encourage kids to play with their food! In addition to fun, active games to keep kids moving throughout the day, campers will gather in the Y’s Café for healthy cooking lessons. While making tasty snacks, kids will learn how to fuel their bodies with healthy food choices.

Tsunami Swim Clinic

Ages: 6-14
Get ready for the fall swim season. Each day will include workouts both in and out of the water. Plus, stroke clinics will help each swimmer work on his or her technique for stronger, more efficient strokes.

Track & Field Clinic

Ages: 7-18
The Attleboro Y’s Jaguars Track and Field coaching staff gives young track athletes the ultimate athletic experience at the Bishop Feehan High School Track. All participants will benefit from coaching in hurdles, sprints, middle distance, cross country, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin, discus, relays and conditioning training. Summer Basketball Clinic

Ages: 10-14
Get into the game this summer! Our coaching staff will help young players work on their skills and basketball fundamentals through drills and exercises, while having fun through scrimmages and games. Specialty Camps at the Pleasant Street Branch

Preschool Gymnastics Camp

Ages: 3-5
Campers learn the basics of gymnastics and tumbling at this fun half-day camp that keeps preschoolers active all week long! Parents are invited to come early on Friday to see all the new moves the campers have learned.

Youth Gymnastics Camp

Grades: Entering 1st grade and Up
Your child will flip over this weeklong gymnastics camp! Participants will work on gymnastics skills as well as routines. Each week includes an end-of-the-week performance! Camp activities include games, arts and crafts, and pool time.

Advanced Gymnastics Camp

Pre-Team and Team Only
This gymnastics camp week is geared to the more advanced gymnast. The camp focuses on learning and perfecting skills in competitive gymnastics routines. Our camp also includes fun games, free gym time, and recreational swimming.


Ages: 5-12
Campers will be given the opportunity to learn dance and gymnastics. A student showcase will cap off this fun-filled week, which includes games, arts and crafts, and recreational swimming.

Youth Dance Camp

Ages: 5-12
Campers will learn a variety of dance routines, including ballet, tap, and hip hop. A student showcase will cap off this fun-filled week, which includes games, arts and crafts, and recreational swimming.

Triathlon Kids Camp

Ages: 6-12
What could be more fun than a week of swimming, biking, and running? Specifically designed for youth triathletes, this triathlon program emphasizes the fun of being active as participants improve their swim strokes and develop strength and stamina.

Drama Camp

Ages: 7-14
Unleash the star within you in this two-week camp! Take part in dramatic games, activities, and prepare for the camp stage. Drama Camp will provide your up-and-coming star with a fun, energetic, and comfortable setting to develop skills and a love for the theater.

Nature Camp

Ages: 7-14
If you enjoy the great outdoors, then we have the program for you. The Nature Camp curriculum provides games, activities, and projects all designed to increase awareness, appreciation, and action.


Ages: 7-14
Discover how science, technology, engineering, and math are intertwined with camp on a daily basis! Through hands-on experiments and interactive learning, campers will learn the fundamentals of STEM and how these concepts apply to many elements of camp, including the ropes course, crafts, the pool, archery and other fun activities. By the end of the two-week camp, the many ropes course elements, arts and crafts, the pool, archery and all the other fun activities campers participate in daily.

Adventure Camp

Ages: 7-9
Up for a challenge? Learn to navigate trails, conquer new heights, and learn basic wilderness survival skills. Daily challenges promote teamwork, logical reasoning, and the chance to take on mother nature.

Outdoor Challenger Camp

Ages: 10-14
Take your adventurous spirit beyond camp and put it to the test. This camp teaches the basics of wilderness survival, including tenting, fire-building, and general outdoor safety. Leading up to an outdoor camping night where the campers will be able to put these new skills to the test.

Art Camp

Ages: 7-14

Find your inspiration at art camp! The camp’s supportive, encouraging environment makes it easy for kids to be creative, whether they’re working with ceramics, paper crafts, paints, clay, or drawing.

Bus Transportation

The Y offers bus transportation to both Camp Finberg and Camp Pleasant!
