Especially designed for preschool and pre-kindergarten campers, our full-day Kiddy Camp program offers a fun and creative first camp experience. Under the direction of a caring staff team devoted to early education, Kiddy Campers participate in all of our camp activities – swimming, crafts, games, campsites, nature walks, and playing – with a modified schedule and smaller staff-to-camper ratio. Small group activities foster a sense of belonging and cooperation to make every young camper feel welcome.
Ages: 6 to 8 / Entering Grades 1-3
With a focus on physical activity and creativity, the youngest school-age division at Camp Pleasant offers campers a wide variety of nature, sports, crafts, and specialty activities supervised by our energetic camp staff! To foster a strong sense of belonging and connection to one another, our Juniors engage in all of the Camp Pleasant traditions, including helping to design their own campsite, participating in Thursday field trips and special theme events, and of course, learning the camp cheer.
Ages: 9 to 11 / Entering Grades 4-6
The Senior Camp division expands upon the camp experience, inspiring the campers to work together through special team challenges, inviting them to explore their interests through camp clubs, and encouraging them to develop leadership skills. Seniors stay active throughout the camp day with swimming, sports, hiking, archery, crafts, and Thursday field trips.
Ages: 12 to 13 / Entering Grades 7-9
The Explorer Camp experience is only limited by the enthusiasm and creativity of the campers and staff. Explorers participate in all of the camp activities, but with new challenges to motivate this age group to work as a team and achieve new skills and talents. Explorers also participate in Thursday field trips.
Leadership Development Program
For young leaders entering grades 9-11.
The Attleboro Y’s Summer Leadership Programs places teens in supportive group settings where they can practice leading peers and develop essential leadership tools. Progressing through this three-year program, our LITs and CITs participate in seminars, workshops, games, and tasks that develop and exercise skills in teamwork and communication. Meanwhile, they still have opportunities to participate in traditional summer camp fun!
The Y offers 10 weeks of bus transportation to both Camp Finberg and Camp Pleasant!
Extended Day – 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
For families who need additional care, you can choose to extend the camp day from 7:00 am-6:00 pm.
