YMCAs build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. So, naturally, Ys seek employees who exhibit the values behind the mission (caring, honesty, respect and responsibility), who enjoy people and want to make a difference. Each one of us has been given certain talents to develop and use in some special way. The challenge lies in matching your values and abilities with opportunities in the world around you. The YMCA is a place that allows you to do this. Take a few minutes and discover all that the YMCA offers. Remember to keep your eyes open to the real rewards. Working for the YMCA means you can have a high-quality lifestyle and reap the rich rewards of helping others. You take home the smile you get from teaching children to tie their shoes or to do the backstroke. You feel pride in watching teens you have mentored graduate from high school and achieve honors. You thrive from the excitement of an adult fitness member who has reached a new goal. You know what it means to impact someone's life. Discover the YMCA as a place to build a rewarding career and an enriched life. The YMCA is an equal opportunity employer. |
YMCA Volunter Information |
Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of YMCA departments and at all our branch locations at different times throughout the year! Aquatics, Child Care, Wellness, Youth Sports, Dance, Membership, Administration, and Camp are some of the areas that rely on volunteers to offer positive programs and services to the YMCA membership and the community. In the past year, over 150 youth, teens, and adults have volunteered approximately 7,500 hours at the YMCA. The YMCA is looking for caring and enthusiastic people of all ages, who are dependable and have positive attitudes, to make valuable volunteer contributions in their programs. If you're interested in learning more about the Attleboro YMCA Volunteer Program, visit the Welcome Center at any YMCA location and complete a “YMCA Initial Interest Volunteer Form” which will begin the process of a volunteer placement. For complete information, questions, and comments on the YMCA Volunteer Program, contact David Barbour at dbarbour@attleboroymca.org |
