The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care has designated the Attleboro YMCA as an Exempt Emergency Child Care Program to support essential workers and vulnerable families during this public health emergency.

Examples of essential workers and vulnerable families include but are not limited to: health care workers, including essential support functions, essential state and human service workers, COVID-19 health workers, grocery store employees, emergency response personnel, law enforcement, transportation and infrastructure workers, sanitation workers, DCF involved families, and families living in shelters.

Interested Families: Even if your child has previously attended the Y’s Child Care programs, you must contact Sr. Child Care Director Carol Mahoney at cmahoney@attleboroymca.org or (401) 595-3025 in advance. You will also need to fill out the EEC’s Child Enrollment Form for Emergency Child Care.

Capacity: 40 children (first come, first served)

Curbside drop-off and pick-up. Please note that parents/guardians will not be allowed inside the facility. The YMCA is working with the EEC to ensure that we’re following all of the necessary protocols to reduce risk of spreading the virus.
